The Bank of Chestnut was formed as a private bank in 1902 by Michael Leimbach. In 1919, the Bank of Chestnut was issued a charter by the State of Illinois. The Bank has been family owned and managed since it’s inception. It has been our mission to deliver quality financial services that satisfy the needs of our customers, employees and community. We strive to be an active part of our community and help all of our members thrive!
We have maintained our same location for over 100 years. We are located in the Village of Chestnut Illinois, which is the geographic center of the State. We are proud to have been a part of the Chestnut community throughout the years.
